    Upper Lillooet Provincial Park
    Established in 1997, Upper Lillooet Provincial Park protects old-growth forests, wetland habitat and glaciers. The park is located in a remote area, with no developed trails or facilities. It is a great destination for backcountry hiking, wilderness camping and photography.

    Garibaldi Provincial Park
    Garibaldi Provincial Park is known for its natural beauty and hiking oppourtunities. It is the largest provincial park in the Whistler area, covering 194,650 hectares. Backcountry camping is permitted at various campsites throughout the park.

    Joffre Lakes Provincial Park
    Joffre Lakes Provincial Park showcases glacial valleys, mountain peaks and turquiose lakes. The park gives visitors oppourtunities for fishing, wildlife viewing, hiking, climbing and camping.

    Duffey Lake Provincial Park
    This 2007 ha park's central feature is Duffey Lake. Visitors can marvel at views of Mt. Rohr while taking part in popular activities such as hiking (although there are no developed trails), fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking and backcountry camping.

    Nairn Falls Provincial Park
    Located north of Whistler, this provincial park has several hiking trails, including one that leads to the 60 metre (196 feet) tall falls. The fast-flowing river waters in the park makes it important to stay back from the edge of river banks.
